- 1⁄2 C butter
- 1⁄2 C granulated sugar
- 1⁄2 C firmly packed brown sugar
- 1⁄2 C heavy whipping cream
- 1 Tbsp vanilla
Combine all sauce ingredients except vanilla in a saucepan.
Cook over medium heat, whisking occasionally, until mixture thickens and comes to a full boil (5 minutes).
Remove from heat and stir in vanilla.
Serve over blondies.
If mixture hardens on standing, gently reheat to make it pourable.
