Chocolate Pie

  • 2 cups sugar
  • 2 tbs corn starch
  • 1 3/4 cup sugar
  • 2 cups milk
  • 4 egg yolks, reserve the whites
  • 3 tbs cocoa powder


Mix dry ingredients. Add milk and store well. Then add egg yolks reserving the whites for the meringue. Heat on medium heat stirring constantly until thickened. Pour into prepared pie shell. Place egg whites in mixing bowl, beat 3 minutes, add sugar to desired sweetness and continue to beat another 5 minutes or until meringue is stiff. Put meringue on top of pie and bake on 400 until meringue is brown.
