Pizza Casserole

  • 1 lb. ground chuck
  • 1/2 cup onion, chopped
  • 1/2 cup mushrooms, sliced (optional)
  • 8 oz. cooked macaroni
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • Dash of pepper
  • 1 can (24 oz.) pizza sauce
  • 1 pkg. (8 oz) mozzarella cheese, grated
  • 1 cup sharp cheddar, grated
  • 1 pkg. (4-6 oz.) thin pepperoni slices


Brown beef, onion, green peppers, mushrooms; drain. Season. Add pizza sauce to beef and cooked macaroni. Alternate layers of cheeses and pepperoni with meat mixture, ending with cheese. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes. If dry, add a little V8 or tomato juice.
