Very Cherry Salad


  • 1 (16-oz.) can dark sweet, pitted cherries, undrained
  • 1 (11 oz) can mandarin oranges undrained
  • 1 (8oz) crushed pineapple, undrained
  • 1 (6oz) package cheery flavored gelatin
  • 1 cup boiling water
  • ½ cup chopped pecans
  • lettuce leaves


Drain fruit, reserving juice.

Dissolve gelatin in boiling water and add fruit juice. Stir well.

Chill until consistency of unbeaten egg whites.

Fold fruit and pecans into gelatin.

Our into a lightly oiled 1-1/2 quart mold.

Chill until firm. Unmold on lettuce leaves.

Yeild: 10-12 servings.
