Owensboro Multicultural Festival

Join in the festivities on Saturday, August 21, as all cultures celebrate at the Sixth Annual Owensboro Multicultural Festival. The festival will showcase the heritage of citizens and their ethnic backgrounds.

An International Worship Service, conducted in many languages, is scheduled for 11 a.m. at the First Presbyterian Church, followed with a Parade of Nations at noon.

From 12 noon until 6 p.m., stroll around the food booths for tastes of China, Greece, Mexico, Germany, African-American, and America’s classic foods.

There will also be information and demonstration booths representing the cultures from China, Japan, Czech Republic, Italy, France, Scotland, Ireland, Asian India, Guam, Philippines, Haiti, Central and South America, and Native America.

Two stages will showcase singing, dancing, drama, gymnastics, bands, and clogging, representing cultures of Korea, Germany, China, Japan, Scotland, the United States, and more.
