THERE’S ALWAYS more of a story to tell. Any writer will tell you it’s nearly impossible to fit someone’s story into a short column, and still somehow equally as difficult to do so in a six-page feature story. 

People and stories are complex, multifaceted. And yet, we are honored with our chosen task to tell them. We are fortunate that KentuckyLiving.com allows us to share more of these stories with you. Please visit and indulge in extra tidbits that simply would not fit in print. 

To borrow a line from one of this month’s subjects, Matt Maynard, “It’s a challenge, but it’s still rewarding.” 

He wasn’t talking about writing or magazines, but the sentiment applies.
