Cushaw Pie


  • 2 cups sugar
  • 2 cups cooked, mashed squash
  • 3 Tablespoons flour
  • 3 Tablespoons butter
  • 2 teaspoons pie spice
  • 1 pint cream
  • 3 egg yolks


Cream butter.

Mix sugar and flour.

Add to butter.

Add spice and eggs to squash and then add cream.

Mix well until it looks really thin.

Bake at 350° for 45 minutes to 1 hour, in 2 shells.
