- 1 lb. crab meat
- 3 Tablespoons butter
- 3 cups half-and-half
- 1 teaspoon salt
- freshly ground pepper
- 1/2 Tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
- 1 Tablespoon flour
- 2 Tablespoons grated onion
- 3 Tablespoons sherry
Melt butter in soup pan.
Over medium heat add flour and stir well to blend.
Slowly add half-and-half, salt, pepper, Worcestershire sauce, onions and sherry.
Do not boil.
Add crab to milk mixture and reduce heat.
Simmer 30 minutes, stirring frequently.
