Kentucky Living is published to create a community of people who take pride in thinking of themselves as Kentuckians and as knowledgeable electric co-op members, in order to improve their quality of life.
How did you address and reverse a health Problem? Our October issue will highlight the top 10 health issues for Kentuckians. In 250 words or fewer, tell us how you conquered a health problem. E-mail us at e-mail@kentuckyliving.com , with subject line “Health Success” and include your name, address, phone number, and name of your electric co-op. Or mail it to us (see “How to Submit” below). Deadline is May 31. If we publish your story as part of our health feature, we’ll pay you $50.
Send us “SUMMERTIME FUN” snapshots for the July issue so we receive them by May 16. Tell us where the photo was taken; identify who’s in the photo and where they’re from; the name, address, and phone number of the photographer; your name and contact info; and the name of your electric co-op. Remember that close-ups of people work best.
- SUBMIT digital images online at Submit a Snap Shot or mail prints to Kentucky Living Snap Shot, P.O. Box 32170, Louisville, KY 40232. No color laser prints, as they do not reproduce well. Photos will NOT be returned unless you include a stamped, self-addressed envelope.
- GET A HEAD START by sending in photos of “Favorite Old Family Photo” for the August issue. Those photos are due June 15.
Send us your favorite TOMATO recipe by April 22 for August. Submit online at Submit Reader Recipe or go to www.KentuckyLiving.com/cooking, then click on “Submit Reader Recipe.” Or mail it to us (see “How to Submit” at bottom). If we publish your recipe, we’ll send you a Kentucky Living mug.
