This presentation will highlight the resilience, ingenuity, and daily labor of the frontier women who helped the settlement survive against extraordinary odds. Mr. Maxson will discuss the famous capture and rescue of Jemima Boone and the Calloway girls. The presentation brings their stories to life, showing how their courage shaped the early Kentucky frontier in ways that are often overlooked.
