Buffalo & Wild Game Night
Here’s your opportunity to try some exotic wild game without having to go out in the cold hunting for it.

Rough River State Resort Park is hosting a Buffalo & Wild Game Night on Saturday, January 14.

Chef Steve Connell’s menu this year includes carved hickory-smoked buffalo, frog legs, fried catfish, fried chicken, wild BBQ boar, duck and chicken dumplings, and elk and venison potpie. There’s also the chef’s choice of vegetables, full salad bar, and a wide selection of delicious desserts.

A living-history presenter showing the many uses of wild game in years past will be present.

The event has attracted 350-400 people during previous years.

The Buffalo & Wild Game buffet will be served between 4-8 p.m. in the lodge’s dining room. Advance reservations are not necessary. Cost for the all-you-can-eat buffet is $13.95 plus tax and tip.
